Anne-Marie Thomas' career began as a professional dancer with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montreal. She worked as a performer and teacher for over 10 years, both in Canada and in the UK. She completed her Pilates matwork training at The Place under the tuition of Susanne Lahusen, Hana Jones and Sonia Noonan and became a full member and PILATESfoundation® teacher in 2004.

Anne-Marie teaches all levels of ability and has extensive experience with a variety of client groups including ante and post natal, the elderly, dancers and athletes, and those in physical rehabilitation.

Anne-Marie currently sits on the Board of Directors of the PILATESfoundation®: a not-for-profit organisation committed to providing the highest standards of training and practice of Pilates and maintaining the principles and integrity of the work.  She is married with 3 children and lives in South East London.

She continues to broaden her knowledge by attending workshops, lectures and conventions from leading anatomy and exercise experts.
